Description

The Loggia dei Mercantia is instantly recognisable thanks to its fine columns built of pietra serena. It was completed in 1540, after a design by Andrea Sansovino. Be sure to take in the remarkable delicacy of its Corinthian capitals. Today it functions as a venue for temporary exhibitions.
