Description

This huge noble square was built during the reign of Joachim Murat (1809). It has a semi-circular layout, enclosed on one side by the Royal Palace and on the other by the neo-Classical façade of the church, San Francesco di Paola: built in 1817, it is largely inspired by the Pantheon in Rome and extended by a curvilinear colonnade.
