Description

A trapezoidal cairn stands on the south slope of Ballymacdermot Mountain. It contains the remains of a court grave from the Neolithic Age (last prehistoric period). The three burial chambers are preceded by an antechamber and a circular forecourt. From the site there is a fine view of the region.
