Description

A steep cable car ride carries passengers up to an altitude of 1,100m/3,600ft on Grouse Mountain, commanding fantastic glimpses of Capilano valley, Vancouver, the Burrard channel, Fraser delta and the island of Vancouver. Skiing and snow sports (snow shoes, sledging and outdoor ice skating) are popular in winter. In the summer, hiking, a visit to the Grouse Mountain Refuge for Endangered Wildlife (grey wolves, grizzlies...) and lumberjack shows are on the programme.
