Description

The vestiges of Nyborg Castle stand on a headland surrounded by water. The west wing has been restored and incorporates the Knights' Hall, the room where the Danehof used to meet, the king's private chamber and the apartments of the royal children. Landport (city gate), built in 1660, stands to the north of the castle.
