Description

The cradle of Olympism has a special place in the history of Greek sanctuaries and indeed history full stop: it is the only one, after 2 700 years, to have managed to perpetuate the spirit behind it. At the stadium, you can imagine the excitement that the sporting events and feats inspired. The Archaeological Museum, where almost all of the finds from the site are exhibited, is one of the country's finest.
