Description
In a handsome wooden manor house with an elegant pinnacle turret, the fascinating Bymuseet brings to life the history of the city through the ages, thanks to documents, paintings and reconstructions of interiors, shops and homes from the 18C. Long-lost neighbourhoods and trades of yesteryear are sensitively evoked, and children will no doubt be amused by the reconstruction of kitchens from the Middle Ages to the present.
