Leadbetter Point State Park protects the pine forests of the northern tip of Long Beach peninsula. This narrow strip of flat earth, around 3km wide, separates the Pacific and Willapa Bay, an estuary where oysters are farmed. Connoisseurs consider these among the best in the US, as they exposed to the tides.
