Useful information

Description

Built in the late 16C, this palazzo has been modified and extended so that it is now twice its original size. It was purchased by the Fondazione Sicilia in 2005 and restored by architect Gae Aulenti. The building now houses a collections of coins, majolica, stamps and sculpture (19C-20C), in addition to a staggering quantity of Greek vases found during excavations in Selinunte, including some magnificent Attic kraters adorned with red or black motifs. The complex is also home to a cookery school and gourmet restaurant.
