Converted for habitational use, this former priory has Romanesque wall paintings which are among the most impressive in Berry together with those at Brinay and Vic. The most important, on the niche ceiling, is striking for its pictorial quality and has lost none of its freshness: it represents the Virgin in majesty between two saints holding palms. In the chancel, note also Christ in majesty, originally probably surrounded by the Apostles.
