Useful information

Description

The quarrelling with regard to Port-Royal and Jansenism was a major topic for the chronicles of the 17C. Today, only the Hôtel d'Atry, cloisters, chapel (built in 1646 by Lepautre) and chapter house have survived from this former abbey. Converted into a prison at the time of the Revolution, the building subsequently became part of the Baudelocque maternity hospital.
