Useful information

Description

The gigantic vessel designed by Frank Gehry, with its glass sails and distinctive outline, emerges out of the foliage in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne. A long-term project of the LVMH group and its chairman, Bernard Arnault, the Fondation Louis Vuitton opened in late 2014. With its 11 galleries and 1 000-seat auditorium, its aim is to promote art and culture in all its guises through paintings, sculptures, film and live performances, including music. The view from the rooftop terrace over the Jardin d'Acclimatation is stunning.
