This temple of Asian culture, built by collector Émile Guimet (1836-1918) in 1889, showcases a renowned collection of Asian art, one of the richest in the world, in a luminous setting. Among the highlights are a colossal Naga statue, Khmer art treasures, funerary substitutes from Northern China (horse, camel, lady with a coat, etc.), Minga porcelains, the legendary Wave off the coast of Kanagawa by Hokusai...
