It takes its name from a tower that has now been destroyed; only a section of the rampart remains. Before turning right into the stairway of rue de l'Abreuvoir, note the 19C façade of the Hôtel de Fayolle. Once you have walked down the street, turn around to see the 17C side of this mansion looking out onto the river.
