Le Castillet, the emblem of Perpignan, dominates the squares of Verdun and Victoire. Its two towers are crowned with extraordinarily high crenellations and machicolations. Today, the Casa Pairal houses the Catalan Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions: furniture, tools, costumes, religious art and a Cross of Insults.
