Description

Remains dating back more than 3 000 years have been unearthed here on marshland. The small museum in the visitor centre has a wonderful exhibition of bronze spears, harnesses, bracelets and pots. The track outside passes the cross-section of an old Roman road and leads to a hangar, where boards and joints are preserved in reservoirs and large piles of wood (1350 BC) submerged in the peat.
