Description

Located in the Palazzo Notarbartolo, this museum is dedicated to the natural habitat of the Madonie mountains. It is laid out in the form of "journeys" into the mountains, starting at low altitude with aquatic flora and fauna, then ascending progressively into the woods and the beech groves (1 300-1 800m)... Note that the stuffed animals here died of natural causes or from poaching.
