Description
This is the largest forest in Corsica, occupying 8,000ha of mainly cork oak. Some areas are covered by a maquis of cistus and heather, while others have been cleared for grazing and the glandée, an ancestral practice which allows pigs to roam freely and graze for acorns in the forest.
