Search a tourist attraction

The Salinas Grandes is easily reached from Purmamarca along Ruta 52 towards Chile. An immense expanse of blinding whiteness, it is traversed by the straight black line of the road. Lying at over 3 000m above sea level, beyond a 4 170m pass, this salt desert, from which salt is still extracted, makes for an absolutely spectacular landscape, which is all the more impressive given the incredible views along the road leading up to it.
