Useful information

Description

This monastery founded by Augustinians in 1384 houses a museum displaying Tyrolean art treasures. Late-Gothic statuary, displayed in the cloister, is given a prominent place. Examples of local goldsmithing masterpieces, including by the great master Dominikus Lang, testify to the high standard of this art here. The church gallery exhibits liturgical objects used during processions, among which the enthroned Virgin and mocked Christ are outstanding.
