Description

The highlights of this archaeological museum, one of the most important in Italy, are the Warriors of Riace, two bronze statues discovered in 1972 on the seabed. But don't let them overshadow the rest of the collections, as this is your opportunity to delve into 4 000 years of history, from which five particularly dazzling centuries stand out: from 730 to 237 BC, when the southern coasts of Calabria, dotted with Greek settlements, along with Sicily, made up Magna Graecia.
