Useful information

Description

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, this large Gothic-style brick church has had a turbulent history and experienced several phases of rebuilding. Its wooden bell tower, a landmark on the Riga skyline, dominates the city from a height of 123m, 1.5m of which is supplied by the golden rooster atop the steeple. Naturally it draws fans of panoramic views, who won't be disappointed once they reach the platform 72m above ground level.
