Description

All that remains of the noble and Imperial fortress erected on this promontory in the early 12C are the Blasiuskapelle, which has been turned into a war memorial, and a fortified gateway. The area is now a public garden with views of the meandering Tauber River below and the Topplerschlößchen, a somewhat bizarre tower topped by apartments.
