The triangular Marshal Tito Square, overlooking the port and lined with cafés and terraces, could easily serve as the scenery of a fully-fledged commedia dell'arte production. Everything in this square, from the old 17C town hall and the clock tower on the left to the Balbi arch, built in the Baroque-style and graced by a winged-lion bas-relief (Venice's emblem), seems to symbolize the famous Venetian city.
