Useful information

Description

The Thay Pagoda ("Master's Pagoda"), also known as the "Pagoda of the Heavenly Blessing", was built on the shores of the Dragon lake in the 11C to honour the monk Tu Dao Hanh. The hill behind the pagoda is home to several sanctuaries (Cac Co cave, the upper temple, the windy grotto, and the single-roof pagoda) which can be reached via a path which is very slippery in wet weather. The whole complex is reminiscent of Perfume Mountain, but on a more modest scale.
