The Michelin Guide's review
The Romanesque collegiate church dates from the 11C and 12C. An impressive tower overlooks the transept. Once through the tower-porch, you enter a tall, airy nave whose carved capitals sport acanthus and fantasy animals. The left-hand transept leads to the lower church. Formerly known as the church of St Jean or church of grottoes, it was used as stables and a storeroom during the Revolution. Remarkable 12-15C frescoes.
