Description

Make your way along nearly 2km of staircases to discover the magnificent concretions that evoke fantasy animals of the majestic Hwaseongul Cave. The largest chamber (100 x 300 m) is worthy of a cathedral. The more modest Daegeumgul Cave is nonetheless the site of spectacular waterfalls and enormous stalagmites of varying colours; it can only be visited on a pre-booked guided tour. These underground treasures would perhaps benefit from a less theatrical presentation.
