Description

During the Alamo's tenure as a military outpost, "The Little Village" developed as a temporary community of people without land title. The Mexican surrender climaxing the Texas Revolution was signed here. Today La Villita is a National Historic District. Early 19C structures today house artisan workshops, restaurants and shops.
