Nahuel Huapi National Park (705 000ha), a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to a multitude of pristine lakes, including the largest, Nahuel Huapi. It is dotted with high peaks, such as the Cerro Catedral, which is suitable for skiing. This grandiose park boasts an incredible wealth of flora and fauna: around 1 000 plant varieties and over 330 species of invertebrates (rare or endangered animals). Its valleys and lower mountain areas are a delight for hikers.
