Useful information

Description

The home of the Chinese Historical Society of America is a 1932 red-brick YWCA building designed by famous architect Julia Morgan. A pair of pagoda-inspired towers rise above a crenellated roofline adorned with imported Chinese tiles, while a dressed stone arch with leaded glazing surmounts the double entrance doors. The museum chronicles the history of the Chinese in America with photographs and artifacts.
