Description

Situated to the southeast of Santiago and not far from the capital, the Cajón del Maipo, a canyon with a fast-flowing river which flows down from the Andes, is a popular Sunday outing for the city's residents. A wide range of outdoor activities, such as hiking, rafting, skiing in Lagunillas, and bathing in hot springs at Colina and Morales, and good cuisine make this area perfect for a relaxing break.
