Description

The collections of these museums dedicated to traditional American art and history are housed in various buildings dotted around beautiful rhododendron gardens (May-June), once the estate of horticulturist Charles Dexter. The Automobile Museum exhibits vintage cars dating from 1899 to the 1930s, while the Art Museum is dedicated to folk art and traditions. Children will enjoy a ride on the superb vintage carousel.
