Description

The Plaza lies at the heart of downtown, as is the case in all Spanish towns. Santa Fe Plaza, flanked by handsome old houses, was the historic gathering place of its residents. In the 19C, it also marked the end of the Santa Fe Trail (look for the stone in the northeast corner) and was inevitably packed with merchants come to examine new goods and wares.
