Useful information

Description

Casa de Diego Velázquez is named after the first governor of Cuba. Built in 1516, it is said to be one of the oldest houses in Latin America. Behind its sober stone façade decorated with wooden mashrabiya, the Museo de Ambiente Histórico Cubano presents furniture from the 17C to 19C in chronological order so that visitors can follow the progression from a Spanish style into something uniquely Cuban.
