Description

This former power station now houses the visitor centre of the national park, which covers most of Schiermonnikoog island, with an exhibition exploring the island's different landscapes, plus a small section devoted to local history and culture. The centre also displays bones from one of the four sperm whales which beached on Ameland in 1997.
