Description
The highest point of the Alpstein range (2,502m), between Toggenburg, the Rhine Valley and Lake Constance, the Säntis landmark commands a breathtaking view of eastern Switzerland. The panorama over the Voralberg, the Grisonnes, Glaronnaises and Bernese Alps is stunning, although in summer, warm mists can hamper the view. For closer plunging views, go down the stairs to the Säntis inn.
