Description
On the main road through Sciacca is the Palazzo Arone di Valentino (15C), whose elegant façade has merlons at the top and three ogival doorways. After the tiny Piazza San Lorenzo below, walk alongside the Palazzo Tagliavia San Giacomo on your left; the Venetian neo-Gothic main façade of this 19C palace gives onto Piazza San Friscia. From there, on the right, Via Figuli leads to the old Convento San Francesco, a monastery that was restored and turned into an exhibition centre.
