Description

The Capilla de San José is a masterpiece of late-17C Seville Baroque. As you turn into the narrow Calle Jovellanos, its 18C façade appears to block off the street, thanks to its bell gable decorated with light-blue azulejos. Inside, the extraordinary Baroque ornamentation reaches its peak in the apse. The large altarpiece, featuring St Joseph at its centre, is a true exaltation of ornamental art.
