Description

Installed in the Mudejar pavilion on the Plaza de América, this museum has ethnographic collections divided into three sections. The first section is devoted to embroidery and lacework, with household linen, liturgical vestments, baptismal gowns etc. The second reconstructs the interiors of the Díaz Velázquez (an upper middle class family). The third shows ceramics, weapons and reconstructions of artisans' workshops (such as a cooper, ceramist, goldsmith).
