Description

Angkor Thom is, along with Angkor Wat, one of the jewels of the archaeological park. The last "great city" was the work of King Jayavarman VII (1181-1218), the most prolific builder in Angkorian history. Discover gems such as Baphuon, the Terrace of the Elephants, and above all, Bayon the State temple... The complex is encircled by an unbroken wall and a moat forming a 3.2km/2mi quadrilateral (13km/8mi circumference).
