Description

The interesting city museum charts the history of Sisak from Antiquity to the present era. Highlights include a superb Illyrian helmet from the Bronze Age, and a collection of Roman Siscia remains (funeral urns, brooches, stylets and jewellery). Finally, belts, rings and swords bear witness to the creation of Ducal Croatia followed by that of the kings from Tomislav. The museum also devotes a section to the city's traditions and industrial and trading heritage. Temporary exhibitions.
