Description

This pagoda, built by the Khmer people, an important community in Soc Trang, is well hidden, despite being just 2km from the town. Despite its very attractive appearance, it owes its renown, somewhat surprisingly, to the colony of bats that lives inside it. If you're not put off by them, the best time to visit the pagoda is late-afternoon, when swarms of bats take to the air in an astonishing display.
