Description

A lovely pine forest, sadly damaged by fire in 2005, provides the backdrop to Naksan Temple, built in the late 7C. On one side is the sea, on the other are the mountains of Seoraksan. Don't miss the sunrise over the water from this place of meditation, under the watchful eye of the statue of the bodhisattva Avalokitesvara.
