Description

Phonographs, radios and all manner of mechanical musical instruments make up this collection, one of the finest of its kind in the world. In working order, phonographs, barrel organs and fairground organs grind out nostalgic tunes and melodies. The golden age of radio is depicted with hundreds of sets: coherers, crystal and electrolytic receivers... Visitors can admire their technical prowess with archives including the voices of Pope Leo XIII, Sarah Bernhardt and Edith Piaf.
