Stara Zagora's town centre is graced with a pleasant public garden bordered by the pedestrian street named after Tsar Simeon the Great (ul. Car Simeon Veliki). Along the street stands the 15C Eski Džamija Mosque, now abandoned. Walk around it to reach a small book market.
