The Green Guide
nr Towcester, Stoke-Bruerne NN12 7SE
The old mill, now turned into a museum, tells the story of these transport routes. See the boats passing through one of the seven locks, or walk along the towpath that leads to the south of Blisworth Tunnel (2 820m), the longest navigable tunnel in Britain, which was opened in 1805.
