Useful information

Description

The Gladstone Pottery Museum is the only factory to have survived, preserving its original workshops, cobbled yard and distinctive bottle-shaped kilns. Opened in 1850, the factory employed in its early days 41 adults and 25 children, producing a range of bone china. It was converted into a pottery museum around 1960.
