Description

Ancient Indians called this area of mineral springs, streams and lakes "the peaceful valley of rippling waters." Today's visitors fish, swim, camp or hike 20mi of trails. The Travertine Nature Center has exhibits on history, geology and fauna. The park's centerpiece is Lake of the Arbuckles, created by the damming of Rock Creek.
