Description
After a difficult start, this cultural mecca and multi-venue art platform has become emblematic of Australia and often said to have revolutionised 20C architecture. Sydney Opera House, whose distinctive roof panels are covered in over a million ceramic tiles, was officially finished in 1973, taking no less than fourteen years to build! Before entering the building, tour the staggered terraces to enjoy the sea view and admire the building from the outside.
