Description

This spectacular museum designed by Arthur Erickson shows an impressive 27m-tall stainless steel cone that rises above the industrial Thea Foss Waterway. It houses an interactive glass-art studio and work by sculptors and painters of the Northwest, as well as travelling exhibition from the US and around the world. An attractive collection of glass pieces by Dale Chihuly, the reputed Tacoma-born artist and one of the founders of the museum.
